Robert Ladell

Chief Operating Officer


Rob joined Squarcle in 2020 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2022. As COO, he leads the day-to-day operations of the business, driving high performance across all operational functions while championing innovation, continuous improvement and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance efficiency and delivery excellence. Rob focuses on building resilient, future-ready operational capabilities that support sustainable growth and ensure Squarcle remains at the forefront of its sector. He brings extensive experience in leading strategic, cross-functional operations and transformation programmes across the Defence and Government sectors. Prior to joining Squarcle, Rob led a large team of consultants, principal designers and supply chain specialists to plan and deliver the logistics strategy for a high-profile £1.6bn construction programme in central London

John Buckley

Director Capability & Innovation


John is an executive leader with over two decades of experience in consulting. He is passionate about helping people realise their potential and in the capacity technology has to improve outcomes for citizens.  Prior to joining the Squarcle board in January 2025, John was a Partner in Deloitte's Consulting business holding both competency and industry leadership roles. He has worked across Retail, Industrials and Financial Services but is a specialist in Defence

Angus Fay

Senior Advisor


Angus is a highly experienced Logistics and Supply Chain professional with over 40-years experience in UK Defence, NATO and the energy sector. In UK Defence, he was the Head of Profession for Logistics, the Defence Supply Chain E2E Process Owner and the Director of Global Logistics Operations. He was also the chief author and architect of the Defence Support Transformation Programme, leading to the delivery of a new Defence Support Operating Model, the creation of the Defence Support organisation, and the creation of a digital transformation programme across the Defence Support Enterprise. More recently, he has been the EMEA and APAC Government account lead for a Fortune 100 Energy corporation and provides Board advice to a number of leading private sector companies.

Megan Price

Chief of Staff


Meg joined Squarcle in July 2024 following a 10 year career in Defence. With a history of providing multi-disciplined support to high-performing, cross-functional leadership teams, Meg brings with her previous experience in Portfolio and Project Management, delivery of Business Operations and provision of high quality Executive Support.

Alex Hubbard

Nuclear and Construction Market Lead


Alex is an experienced ICT senior programme and project manager, with extensive experience in aviation, defence, policing and construction sectors. She has global experience gained from UK, Australia, New Zealand and United Arab Emirates in the deployment, data migration, enhancement and support of ERP (Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), Airline and Airport Passenger Service Systems (Radixx, Sabre, Amadeus), MRO system (GOLDesp, AMOS). She is a competent manager of project change control within the ITIL process framework and has successfully led numerous cross-functional, multicultural onshore and offshore teams.​ ​ At Squarcle Alex is the market lead for Construction & Nuclear, leading Squarcle’s teaming, bidding and pursuits in that sector. Alex also leads the Product Development team as part of the Digital capability.

Jack Matthews

Capability Lead: Enterprise Digitisation & Change


With nearly 30 years of experience in the Defence sector, Jack brings a proven track record of leadership across the public sector (RAF and Civil Service) and within a Tier 1 Defence supplier, prior to moving into consultancy. His career spans operations, programme leadership, business development and major transformation. This enables Jack to combine deep sector knowledge and delivery expertise to provide client-focused consultancy services that drive measurable outcomes. He is motivated by enabling meaningful change that delivers tangible value to Defence organisations. In his current role as Enterprise Digitisation & Change lead, Jack leads the development and execution of strategy design, operating model development, and programme delivery. Jack holds an MA in Defence Studies and a PG Dip in Logistics Management.

Marcus Gilmore

Market Lead: Aerospace & Defence


Marcus is a multi-skilled management consultant with over 25 years of experience gained within both a Big 4 consulting and blue-chip industry environment. Marcus has worked extensively in delivering transformation across the Defence, Security and Justice domains both in the UK and internationally. He has also held management positions in aviation, manufacturing and financial services industries. Formerly Head of Supply Chain at Newton Europe, Marcus joined Squarcle in July 2025 to lead Aerospace & Defence in the private sector. He is passionate about making a tangible difference where it matters most through enabling organisations to deliver meaningful and sustainable change.
